Thank You for Showing Us “A Day in the Life of Diabetes”!

Throughout October and November, we’ve asked you to help illustrate what “A Day in the Life of Diabetes” means to you by sharing a photo on our Facebook mosaic. It’s been so inspiring to see the many different sides of diabetes from our fans and followers the past two months. The mosaic images truly capture the extraordinary effort it takes to live an ordinary day with diabetes.

With today being the last day of American Diabetes Month®, we thought we’d share some more of our favorite submissions, as we did last month. Enjoy!

Though she’s 12,065 feet above ground on the summit of Mount Idaho, Sierra still remembers to manage her diabetes and keep her blood glucose in check. What a great view!

Type 1 diabetes doesn’t stop Tania from “living the good life.” We love her attitude and motto, “Work hard, play hard!”

Even with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes at age three, little Ethan is still “soaring through the air” and back to enjoying life as a normal kid just a few months later.

To manage his type 2 diabetes, Clifton practices Yang style Tai Chi every day, describing it as “easy to do and very beneficial.” What an interesting and unique form of exercise and control!

Both Bernadette and her husband off 44 years have type 2 diabetes, but they work very hard to control it so they may have “many more years together.” We adore this sweet and inspirational couple!
