Catching up with the “A Day in the Life of Diabetes” Mosaic
Since Oct. 1, 2012, our supporters have helped us shine a new light on the issue of diabetes and those who live with it each and every day. Thousands of photos have been uploaded to our mosaic to illustrate what “A Day in the Life of Diabetes” means to people affected by the disease. It’s true that people with diabetes do have a higher risk of blindness than people without it, and that the disease is the leading cause of blindness in adults.
