Why I Give: George’s Story

At the age of 7, my daughter Audra was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. As her condition deteriorated throughout her college years, she had kidney failure. Although I donated a kidney to her on her 26th birthday to extend her life, she passed away from long-term complications in 2012 at the age of 34. Continue reading
